Zen Meditation Retreat in County Cavan, August 9-11, 2013.

We'll be holding a Zen meditation retreat at Tara House at the Jampa Ling Buddhist Centre near Bawnboy village in County Cavan over the weekend of August 9 to 11, 2013. The Jampa Ling Centre is situated in thirteen acres of beautiful meadow, woodland and gardens, on the borders of one of Cavan's many lovely lakes.

A new website has been created as a resource for information on the history of Irish Buddhism, early Western Buddhism and the fascinating character of U Dhammaloka (pictured above) a Dublin-born Buddhist convert and anti-colonialist agitator who was active in Asia in the early Twentieth Century.
